Responsibilities
Meet all deadlines, both internal and external.
Work independently on all Cost Report functions.
Insure full adherence to firm’s compliance, HIPPA, and security policies and procedures.
Prepare and file initial, amended and reopened Cost Reports.
Coordinate / facilitate Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) audits and desk reviews.
Act as a liaison between the MAC and the client.
Work on engagements for other service lines offered and sold by firm.
Identify reimbursement opportunities, both client specific and for all clients, and work to implement.

Required
B.S. / B.A. required, preferably in Accounting of Finance
4+ years of Reimbursement experience with a MAC, Public Accounting, Health Care Provider, or Consulting background
Results driven; accountable for achieving personal and departmental performance standards as dictated in policies and procedures
Focused on providing the highest possible level of professionalism to Clients/Auditors
Effective solution-oriented communicator as demonstrated through professional written and verbal skills
Ability to build positive working relationships with clients
Able to communicate difficult Medicare / Cost Report concepts in a simple but effective manner
PC applications in a Windows environment, with specific emphasis on Office365 and HFS
Able to prioritize workload
Able to handle expected volume of work
Adapts well to change
Understand and apply new concepts
Participate in monitoring individual daily work process for compliance with all rules and regulations, accreditation standards and laws that apply
Initiate reporting of compliance concerns following firm procedures established for reporting compliance issues
Insure full compliance with HIPPA and firm security policies
