Responsibilities

Originate, structure, and work alongside Ledger Capital Markets to produce and place innovative Casualty ILS transactions into the broad capital markets.

Develop innovative reinsurance solutions for capital efficiency.

Coordinate internal resources, such as data analytics, actuarial services, contracts, and client services in driving successful deal execution.

Create compelling, accurate, and innovative pitch decks for re/insurance companies.

Be a Subject Matter Expert on insurance and reinsurance specifics.

Ensure timely delivery and accuracy of documents supporting the ILS transaction.

Required

10+ years of experience in Reinsurance Broking, Reinsurance Underwriting, or Ceded Reinsurance, with a focus on developing, structuring/underwriting, and the execution of casualty reinsurance programs.

Proven ability to originate re/insurer relationships and execute deals on a timely basis. Strong relationship-building skills.

Expertise in presenting to C-Suite Executives.

Demonstrated problem-solving skills and desire to work in a highly collaborative, 'start up' environment.

Expertise in analyzing market trends and providing strategic insights for reinsurance solutions.

Proficient in mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
