Responsibilities
As a Release Manager, you will be responsible for working with the cross functional development, IT operations & DevOps teams managing end to end release cycle for weekly, monthly and on demand emergency releases.
Coordinate the release schedule and resources required depending upon the marketing & business needs, defect backlogs, planned releases, and infrastructure updates.
Manages relationships and coordinates work between different teams at different locations to ensure release details and schedules are communicated across the portfolio effectively.
You will be responsible for the Release Management lifecycle that involves the stages such as scheduling the release, coordinating between teams, pre & post production testing certifications, stakeholder & leadership approvals
Identify the risks that can delay the release and manage them, such that the scope scheduled, and quality of the release is not affected.
Communicate the project-related tasks such as plans, timelines, requirements, etc. between different teams.
Create plans for the implementation and deployment as per the release schedule.
Plan and provide daily/weekly updates on the release activities
Lead the Go-Live activities to deploy the software successfully.
Maintain documentation related to procedures on build and release, various notifications lists, and dependencies.
Provide reporting to Senior Management team to keep them up to date
Make improvements in the methodologies used for configuration management and development of software that helps to find ways to use in configuration management.

Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, and/or Information Technology
5+ years of experience in Agile Change & Release Management
Strong leadership skills, including coaching, team-building, and conflict resolution
Strong English communication skills (e.g. written, verbal, presentation)
Able to adapt quickly to changing requirements
Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
Ability to manage multiple/concurrent releases in development
Ability to prepare communication, reports and presentations using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Legacy Tech Stack = Java & .NET
Future State – Front End (React) Back End (Node.JS, javascript)
