Select the appropriate Risk Management Strategy or Alternative Failure Management Strategy and develop/implement Equipment Maintenance Strategies (EMS’s) for each piece of critical equipment and generic EMSs for BOP equipment.
Support PPM Coordinator for reviews of existing plans for effectiveness and applicability based on the Risk Management Strategy, Alternative Failure Management Strategy, vendor information, RCM tools, historical equipment reliability issues, results of PPM, etc.
Evaluate/implement available Equipment Condition Monitoring techniques and new technology to improve productivity, effectiveness, and the value of the equipment condition monitoring program.
Support PPM Coordinator to ensure that documentation of findings of PPM and Corrective Maintenance activities are properly documented in CMMS so that evaluations can be done.
