REMOTE - Epic Consultant - Professional Billing (PB) and Healthy Planet

Responsibilities
Analyze, configure, and optimize the Epic PB module to support end-to-end billing processes, including charge capture, claims, payment posting, and collections.
Collaborate with revenue cycle teams to streamline workflows and ensure compliance with payer and regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement enhancements to improve billing efficiency, reduce denials, and enhance reporting capabilities.
Configure and optimize the Healthy Planet module to support population health management and care coordination.
Develop dashboards, registries, and analytics tools to support value-based care initiatives and quality improvement programs.
Partner with clinical teams to design workflows that improve patient engagement and outcomes in population health programs.
Lead system implementations, upgrades, and optimizations for PB and Healthy Planet modules.
Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution to ensure stability and performance.
Provide end-user training and support to maximize adoption and effectiveness.
Serve as a trusted advisor to revenue cycle, clinical, and IT teams, providing insights and recommendations to meet organizational goals.
Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PB and Healthy Planet functionality with other Epic modules.

Required
Epic certification(s) in Professional Billing (PB) and Healthy Planet modules (current or within version requirements).
5+ years of experience working with Epic systems, with a focus on billing operations and population health.
Strong understanding of revenue cycle processes, value-based care models, and care coordination workflows.
Proven experience leading Epic module implementations, optimizations, and issue resolution.
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, information systems, or a related field.
Experience with additional Epic modules or interoperability solutions.
Knowledge of quality reporting programs such as HEDIS, MIPS, or ACO metrics.
Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards and regulatory requirements.
