Responsibilities
Answer a high volume of inbound calls from patients and healthcare providers for various needs, ensuring resolution
Navigate electronic health records to validate and document patient information while maintaining privacy and security
Schedule patient visits based on provider preferences and verify insurance eligibility
Utilize critical thinking to address caller needs and consult clinical staff as necessary
Manage calls within established performance standards, providing excellent customer service

Required
High School Diploma or GED
2-5 years of relevant experience in healthcare or customer service
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency in using electronic health records and navigating complex healthcare systems
Preferred
Experience with insurance processes and patient scheduling
Familiarity with electronic health records and MyChart
Ability to handle complex customer service situations with professionalism
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
