Responsibilities
Design and develop fiber optic network infrastructure for the Seattle market, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
Conduct feasibility studies, site surveys, and technical assessments to determine optimal fiber routes and installation methods.
Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, and vendors to implement network designs, troubleshoot issues, and maintain quality standards.
Prepare, review, and modify design drawings, schematics, and documentation.
Utilize industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS tools) for fiber design and documentation.
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and milestones, ensuring adherence to scope and client requirements.
Stay updated on industry standards, local regulations, and emerging technologies in fiber optic infrastructure.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in fiber optic network design or a related telecommunications role.
Proficiency in fiber design software (AutoCAD, GIS mapping tools, etc.).
Strong knowledge of fiber optic installation methods, route planning, and network architecture.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred
Familiarity with Seattle market regulations and infrastructure is a plus.
