Responsibilities
Create, carry out, and oversee security fixes for Windows-based systems.
Keep an eye out for security events and take prompt action in response to alarms and threats.
Conduct frequent penetration tests and vulnerability assessments to find and reduce security threats.
Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices for Windows environments.
Collaborate with development and IT teams to ensure safe settings and procedures.
Install and maintain security measures like endpoint protection, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
Perform routine compliance reviews and security audits.
Stay updated on the latest technology advancements, security trends, and vulnerabilities.
Provide assistance and training on security awareness and best practices to staff members.

Required
a bachelor's degree in a related discipline, such as information security or computer science
solid background working as a Windows Security Engineer or in a related position
strong familiarity with security features and Windows operating systems
expertise with endpoint protection, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and other security tools and technologies
familiarity with penetration testing and vulnerability assessment tools
knowledge of firewall configuration, network protocols, and security best practices
strong ability to analyze and solve problems
exceptional communication skills both in writing and speaking
capacity to oversee several projects at once and operate autonomously
Preferred
relevant certificates (such as Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, CISSP, CISM, and CEH)
