Responsibilities

Provides comprehensive dashboards and reports that help our organization make data-driven decisions

Leverages advanced analytical skills and business acumen to distill complex data into clear, concise, and actionable dashboards and reports

Develops, implements and delivers data reporting services, including data preparation, analysis, modelling and visualizations

Performs a wide range of tasks for the Quality-of-Life project such as reporting, building dashboards, building data models, analyzing datasets, and administration of Power BI system

Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills

Exhibits customer service orientation

Shows strong analytical & business acumen

Applies basic skills in regression and association analysis, and the ability to identify outliers, with a foundational grasp of data analysis principles

Maintains a solid grasp of database concepts and organization

Demonstrates excellent time management and organization abilities, with a proven capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Is highly collaborative, yet capable of working independently with focus and self-direction on projects

Is meticulous and dedicated to delivering high-quality work

Preferred

Five (5+) years of professional experience implementing BI technologies and ArcGIS StoryMaps through data analytics and visualization

Three (3+) years of experience using Power BI to create data models, datasets and reports

One (1) year experience administering Power BI Service, Gateway and Capacity Administration

One (1) year experience using ArcGIS StoryMaps and ArcGIS API for Python

One (1) year experience with Databricks, Snowflake, and Genie which includes data cleaning techniques, including handling missing values and data formatting issues

One (1+) years of experience in Python language and SQL programming using datasources like SQL Server, Oracle, and Posgres

Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or engineering field

Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Professional Certificate
