Responsibilities
Combine fundamental analysis and economic models to forecast ICE prices
Estimate the US crop size and quality on a regional level and compare with other market estimates
Maintain US Cost of Production values to gain insight on acreage and relevant ICE levels
Forecast trade flows based on relative cross origination values
Work within a global team to manage the world S&D and identify trading opportunities
Consolidate information from regional research offices (Brazil/India/China)
Coordinate with the Regional Research Team
Construct price models using Python to predict fundamental direction on ICE and ZCE

Required
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Agricultural Studies or Economics (Master’s preferred)
0-1 year of experience as Commodities Research Analyst (preferably Cotton)
Expertise in dynamics of commodities production, trade flows and stocks in the US
Coding ability: Python or R, in addition to VBA
