Responsibilities

Provide support in the planning, execution, and analysis of experiments.

Effectively present research findings to the Biology team.

Perform isolation and cryopreservation of mononuclear cells from whole blood or tissue.

Assist in maintaining, expanding, and archiving cell lines using aseptic techniques.

Monitor and maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents.

Perform routine quality control procedures and schedule maintenance and certification of laboratory equipment as needed.

Maintain the highest quality standards in compliance with safety and environmental precautions.

Collaborate with Finance and maintain accounting for laboratories, such as purchase order requisition, laboratory budget querying, and maintaining vendor relationships.

Collaborate with the HR and Safety teams to implement federal, state, and local COVID workplace protocols.

Manage biohazardous waste and chemical (CO2 and LN) streams, including safety checks and equipment inspection.

Perform other duties as needed.
