Responsibilities
Work in conjunction with senior analysts to develop and market equity research products.
Build and update financial models, write research reports, and conduct macro and industry analysis.
Possess strong financial modeling, accounting, valuation, and quantitative skills.
Produce company initiations, equity research reports, and marketing presentations under tight time constraints.
Interact with internal sales, trading, and external clients.
Organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Utilize PC skills including strong Excel skills, Word, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, and FactSet.

Required
Equity research experience (buy-side or sell-side)
All research licenses
Proficient with financial modeling of complex companies
Writing and equity analysis
Strong background in and passion for climate change, sustainability-focused technologies, capital markets, and finance and accounting
Specific sector focus on agriculture and sustainability technologies
Prior work experience analyzing or managing financial statements or quarterly earnings reports in a wealth management institution, investment bank, accounting firm, or in an accounting or finance role within a finance department
Exposure to disruptive technologies and policy in transportation, power, materials, or agriculture industries
Independence, initiative, and entrepreneurship
Attention to detail
Strong work ethic
Ability to multi-task
Strong financial modeling, accounting, valuation, and quantitative skills
Strong writing and analytical skills
Passion for the stock market and equity research
Strong sales and communication skills
Ability to work independently and initiate and accomplish projects with minimal supervision
Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
PC skills: strong Excel skills and command of Word, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, and FactSet
Preferred
Demonstrated interest in climate change and sustainability along with broader societal impact from emerging and disruptive technologies
Introductory or greater understanding of ESG investing
MBA and/or CFA or comparable graduate degree
Fully-licensed (FINRA Registrations: SIE Securities Exam/63/86/87)
Candidates without MBA and/or CFA or comparable graduate degree
