Responsibilities
Support Upstream cell culture operations in the pilot-scale lab to generate protein materials.
Independently execute cell culture processes from harvest to final fill.
Be cross-trained in Downstream purification processes.
Partially support activities in the Purification Process Development lab.
Support protein material generation activities including mammalian cell culture and purification operations.
Escalate equipment or process issues and assist in troubleshooting.
Prepare buffer and media solutions for material generation and process development runs.
Perform equipment maintenance and maintain detailed records of lab activities.
Generate technical reports and present findings in internal meetings.
Purchase raw materials and consumables.
Operate bench-top glass vessels, large-scale single-use bioreactor systems, and associated activities.
Utilize lab software, electronic lab notebooks (ELN), and manage data with Benchling.
Lift and move 50 lbs repeatedly.
Work weekends and holidays when required.
Be familiar with purification processes, lab automation, and biomanufacturing.
Demonstrate proficiency in mammalian cell culture, buffer and media preparation, and lab equipment maintenance.

Required
Hands-on cell culture experience includes operating both bench-top glass vessel, large-scale single-use bioreactor systems, and associated activities.
Familiarity with lab software and/or electronic lab notebooks (ELN).
Able to lift and move 50 lbs. Repeatedly.
Weekend and holiday work is required when needed.
Familiar with purification process and operations.
Proficient in lab automation.
Proficiency with ELN and data management (Benchling).
Biomanufacturing experience.
Mammalian cell culture (Pilot)
Buffer and Media Prep
Lab Eq Maintenance
Preferred
BS in related field
Proficiency with ELN and data management (Benchling)
Associate degree with 2+ years exp.
