Responsibilities
Work in collaboration with scientists and core staff to address research questions involving the analysis of social and behavioral risk hypotheses.
Problem-solve applications of existing analytic tools to specific data analysis projects, including independent identification of problems and initial attempts at solutions.
Modify existing methods for application to new datasets and types of analyses - typically using R software.
Document work and data analyses, particularly through organized digital records of data set sources, file locations, and statistical and bioinformatics code.
Interpret and contextualize the results of statistical analyses.
Discuss with colleagues, investigators, and supervisor the need for any additional analyses and/or special methodological needs.
Clearly summarize and present findings at team meetings.
Prepare written reports of statistical analyses, including relevant statistical theory, references, methods, results, and conclusions to contribute to scientific publications.
Keep abreast of technical and academic resources related to the methodology of statistical analyses.

Required
Bachelor's Degree in related discipline
Three years related experience
Preferred
Master's Degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or Biostatistics
Experience with social network analysis
Experience working in substance use epidemiology
R, SAS or STATA programming proficiency (mastery preferred)
