Responsibilities

Create novel protein, exosome and nucleic acid-based assays on the QDTI quantum-powered detection platform.
Design, execute, and manage key reagent & assay development projects for internal and partner driven objectives.
Leverage prior experience and expertise to impact assay development & mentor junior team members.
Support strategic projects & collaborations with academic and industry-based partners, working alongside the business team members.
Partner & collaborate within a multi-functional team (physics, biology, engineering, & business) related to launching QDTI’s instrument and assay system.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or related field with 3-6 years of experience, Master’s degree with 2-4 years of experience, or PhD with 0-2 years of experience.
Hands-on experience in assay development and validation of immunoassays including bead-based immunoassays, ELISAs, immunoblotting, and/or protein chemistry assays and arrays.
Development experience with both single-plex and multi-plex assays ideal.
Assay development experience with commercialized immunoassay technologies (e.g. Luminex, Quanterix, Gyrolab, MSD, Ella, Olink) is advantageous but not required.
Familiarity & hands-on experience with bead-protein bioconjugation is a significant plus.
Highly motivated & comfortable innovating in a dynamic, small-team environment.
Passionate for & proficient at cross-functional problem solving.
Demonstrated excellence in working independently & on multiple projects in parallel.
Superior communication, presentation, & interpersonal skills are required.
