Responsibilities
Design and make different types of biologics (antibodies, conjugates, bispecific antibodies etc) using molecular biology tools.
Coordinate or execute expression and purification of biologics and be accountable for interpreting analytical results to maintain quality of outputs.
Conduct functional assays, including generating and maintaining stable cell lines.
Contribute to analysis and synthesis of results, design of new experiments and clear communication of scientific progress to project team(s); troubleshoot experiments and suggest mitigation strategies.
Work effectively as a member of cross-functional teams to accomplish shared project goals.
Contemporaneous and accurate documentation in sample databases and electronic notebooks

Required
BS or MS degree in biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, or related discipline with at least 2+ years of relevant academic or industry laboratory experience
Experience with mammalian cell culture and a solid understanding of best practices for aseptic technique
Excellent technical ability, attention to detail, and an eagerness to learn new things
Proficiency in designing and conducting experiments, and to analyze, interpret and communicate data
Knowledge of molecular biology techniques for the design and generation of plasmid constructs for protein expression and use of standard DNA software (eg Lasergene, Snapgene, Vector NTI)
Experience with standard protein biochemistry techniques such as SDS-PAGE, antibody and protein purification, and familiarity with interpretation of biophysical measurements
Preferred
Experience with any of the following: Characterizing antibodies based on binding, specificity, or functional activities
Cell line generation and cell-based assays
Protein and antibody labeling/conjugation
Familiarity with flow cytometry, ELISA, or SPR binding measurements
Analysis of experiments in related software such as Excel (including basic macro programming), Prism, Spotfire, FlowJo, Octet, etc
