Responsibilities
Perform advanced research and analysis on issues related to animal welfare, environmental impact, supply chains, vegan alternatives, consumer trends, and more, to support PETA policies, guidelines, and general operating practices
Facilitate and send external corporate communications
Prepare SWOT analyses on major corporations
Prepare PowerPoint and other presentations
Exercise sound judgment and confidentiality at all times
Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor

Required
Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of two years of previous experience in a research role
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Canva, as well as a willingness to learn new software
Demonstrated thorough knowledge of animal rights issues and PETA campaigns
Proven exceptional research abilities, including qualitative and quantitative analyses
Outstanding analytical and organizational skills
Proven exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Demonstrated excellent decision-making skills and the proven ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment
Ability to work quickly and under pressure
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Professional appearance and adherence to a healthy vegan lifestyle
Support for PETA's philosophy and the ability to professionally advocate PETA's positions on issues
Commitment to the objectives of the organization
