Responsibilities

Responsible for overall guidance of assigned shift of Resource Center personnel.
Handles special requests or problems that occur during the shift.
Handles special projects in the center (logging and instructions).
Prioritizes incoming work requests.
Maintain proficiency with office procedures and keeping current with Firm technology.
Working cooperatively with legal staff on job or deadline issues.
Answering and fielding all incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner.
Coordinates overtime requests for attorneys and special projects.
Acquires overtime for shift when necessary.
Responsible for pitching in and working on documents to keep the Center on schedule with deadlines.
Serve as Notary Public.
Performs other delegated tasks as assigned by Resource Center Manager.

Required

Ability to understand procedures and instructions specific to the area of assignment as would be acquired during four years of high school.
Previous experience of 2-5 years in a related environment.
Strong attention to detail in all assigned tasks.
Ability to receive detailed information through verbal communication and accurately convey important spoken instructions to other workers.
Demonstrate flexibility in their work schedule to meet the needs of the department.
Maintain exceptional clerical skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to listen to and communicate effectively with others.
Ability to manage time well, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines.
Advanced attention to detail and ability to create an accurate work product.
Strong knowledge with Microsoft Office required.
Attend training classes regularly to maintain an acceptable level of performance with the Firm’s technology.

Preferred

Associates or Bachelor’s Degree is not required but preferred.
