Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of developers and technical consultants in the delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Retail solutions. Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and ensure best practices are followed throughout the development process.
Design and implement scalable, high-performance solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Retail, ensuring that the platform meets the unique needs of retail operations (e.g., point of sale, inventory management, omnichannel integrations).
Oversee the customization and configuration of Dynamics 365 Retail applications, including POS (Point of Sale), merchandising, supply chain, and financials. Configure workflows, extensions, and integrations to enhance system functionality.
Lead efforts for integrating Dynamics 365 Retail with third-party systems (e.g., eCommerce platforms, ERP, supply chain management systems, loyalty programs, etc.). Ensure seamless data flow and real-time synchronization between systems.
Work closely with business stakeholders (including retail operations, sales, and IT teams) to gather requirements, provide technical expertise, and define solution architecture based on business needs.
Provide support for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and bugs within the Dynamics 365 Retail environment.
Ensure that development and implementation adhere to industry best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation to optimize retail operations. Stay current with the latest Dynamics 365 updates and industry trends, making recommendations for upgrades and new features.
Assist project managers in defining project scope, timelines, and resource allocation. Help track project progress, manage risks, and ensure successful delivery within budget and schedule.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, particularly within the Retail and Commerce space.
Proven experience leading technical teams in the implementation, customization, and integration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.
Strong experience in retail-specific modules such as Point of Sale (POS), inventory management, order management, and loyalty programs.
Expertise in Dynamics 365 Retail/Commerce (POS, eCommerce, Finance, etc.).
Proficient in coding languages and frameworks such as X++, C#, and JavaScript.
Strong knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and Azure services.
Experience with data integration and API-based services (e.g., RESTful APIs, SOAP).
Familiarity with Azure DevOps and source control systems (Git).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working closely with technical teams and business stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Leadership and mentoring experience with a technical team.
Preferred
Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Retail)
Experience with Dynamics 365 F&O (Finance and Operations) and/or D365 Supply Chain Management
