Responsibilities

Provide oversight on a wide variety of duties related to Information Technology applications, specifically the Epic Resolute Professional Billing, Charge Router, Single Billing Office, Claims, Remittance, and Research Billing.

Servicing as technical resource; designing, developing, testing, implementing, and evaluating Revenue Cycle Information Systems for the organization.

Report to the Professional Billing IS Supervisor in the Information Services department.

Closely collaborate with Revenue Cycle operations (Patient Access, Revenue Integrity, Professional Billing, Continuous Improvement, Trainers, Finance, Cashiers, Hospital Billing, Clinical Research Billing, and Single Business Office), Sr. Revenue Cycle analysts as well as third party vendors and other application teams on a daily basis.

Required

Seven (7) years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor’s degree in related area plus three (3) years of related experience/training.

Must obtain certification in primary EMR module(s) within four (4) months of initial hire.

Must maintain current certification for primary EMR module(s) as a condition of employment.

Experience and proven success in information systems implementation, development and support within a large-scale healthcare organization.

Demonstrated experience as a major participant in a clinical system implementation.
