Responsibilities

Coordinates and responds to inquiries and requests daily regarding financial statistics, billing, charging and charge master information and issues/problems, and ad-hoc analysis for all PHS management.
Ensures billing and charging compliance issues are resolved.
Responsible for overseeing and ensuring that complete documentation is maintained in either electronic or hard copy form to provide an audit trail.
Responsible for understanding of all ICD-9,ICD-10 CPT-4, HCPCS and APC updates and change.
Building Customer confidence by increasing satisfaction, achieving expectations and ensuring commitments are met
Diagnosing and resolving problems
Identify revenue cycle process challenges and escalating concerns in a timely fashion
Participates in necessary meetings and conference calls
Participates in planning, developing, implementing and supporting new or existing IT applications
Gathers and analyzes information and provides recommendations to address and resolve business issues for a specific business group.
Responds to client problems and inquiries via the telephone and e-mail
Travel required as needed to perform job duties.
Performs other functions as required.

Healthcare experiencePatient accounting systemsEPICICD-9ICD-10CPT-4HCPCS

Required

Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as, but not limited to, Business and or Health Administration, Nursing or other Clinically oriented position.
6 yrs of additional experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.
Plus 2 years of experience in healthcare related enterprise or other Finance or Patient Financial Services related field required.
Critical thinking and extreme attention to detail.
System operations knowledge of all patient accounting systems (, EPIC or Epic Home Health) and other revenue cycle systems.
Medical terminology, ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT-4 and HCPCS knowledge required.
