Responsibilities
Perform department charge capture and reconciliation audits
Identify charge capture opportunities and provide support on improvement projects
Maintain knowledge of billing requirements, coding guidelines, CMS Medicare reimbursement methodologies, and chargemaster components
Complete data collection and analysis, create accurate reports, and manage reporting tools
Develop and maintain training resources for end users, assist in needs analysis, and communicate information regarding tools and data enhancements

Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Care Administration, Finance or a related field
Three years of previous experience in coding or revenue integrity with in Epic Access/Revenue Systems (Grand Central, Cadence, HIM, Prelude, Resolute (ARHB))
Preferred
Coding certification
Professional experience, beyond requirements, in a related field may substitute for a Bachelor's degree requirement on a year-for-year basis
