Responsibilities

Engage in the role of Risk Management Consultant by monitoring client risk exposure, providing marketing guidance and identifying hedging opportunities

Bunities for hedging wiuild and maintain client base for financial services and hedging with futures/options execution utilizing StoneX exchange-traded or OTC accounts as well as opportth other OTC product types

Develop and recommend fact-based risk mitigation and margin enhancement strategies for clients

Perform as a consultant with Know-Risk Crop Marketing client accounts including advisory, customized marketing strategy and farm specific tailored hedge plans

Analyze individual client operations to determine market exposure, price sensitivity and financial risks

Perform market analysis, including reporting on commodities production, weather, and supply/demand variables

Strategize lead pipelines, proactively identifying prospects and soliciting opportunities for all StoneX product lines

Solicit sales for all StoneX product lines including direct sales, referral prospects and sales renewals for existing clients

Support clients with cost of production and customized hedge plans

Monitor client positions and risk/opportunities in volatile commodity conditions

Participate/attend client Know-Risk workshops and trade shows in Western Canadian locations

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Finance, Economics or related field

Prefer 5 years of Canadian agriculture experience - expert knowledge of the Canadian grain market including hedgeable commodities

Must demonstrate a quantitative/analytical approach to commodity markets and the use of multiple risk management alternatives

Ability to exercise autonomous judgment in assessing opportunities and risk

Original and independent thinking is a must to identify and respond to customer needs through the structuring of effective solutions

Futures Licensing/Ethics course completion and registration with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO) within 6-9 months of hiring

Associated Person with StoneX Financial Markets, LLC (SXM) course completion within 6-9 months of hiring

Willing to travel for customer meetings, workshops and trade shows as required

Excellent customer service and verbal and written communication skills

Self-starter and entrepreneurial

Strong work ethic and emphasis on attention to details

Ability to share knowledge and work in a strong team-oriented environment

Excellent organizational and planning skills

Proficient computer skills—especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Maintain prompt and regular attendance
