Responsibilities
Administer comprehensive insurance program, including general liability, auto liability, workers’ compensation, contractor's professional and pollution liability, property, cyber, executive risks, subcontractor default, etc.
Work with stakeholders to develop and implement policies, procedures, process improvements, and best practices to reduce risk and control losses.
Review and analyze Bid Documents and Specifications for new contracts.
Create insurance bid specifications and review project-specific policy forms for appropriate coverage.
Assist in the development and management of company-sponsored Contractor Controlled Insurance Programs (CCIPs).
Develop direct report(s) to be effective leaders and oversee department performance.
Manage and audit all insurance policy documentation, endorsements, etc.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Business Administration, or related field
5+ years of experience in risk management, insurance, or related field
Experience in overseeing comprehensive insurance and risk management programs
Experience in managing insurance claims and resolving them effectively
Experience in developing and implementing risk management strategies
Experience in working with stakeholders to develop and implement policies and procedures to reduce risk
Experience in managing insurance policies, endorsements, and documentation for accuracy
Experience in building and nurturing partnerships with key stakeholders
Experience in reviewing insurance coverage issues related to contracts and agreements
Experience in creating insurance bid specifications and reviewing project-specific policy forms
Experience in assisting with the development and management of insurance programs
Experience in developing and training team members in risk management
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to balance competing interests and align company goals
Ability to provide guidance and technical expertise on risk and insurance matters
Ability to manage and audit insurance policy documentation
Ability to manage internal exposure data for underwriting submissions
Ability to partner with accounting to develop and maintain risk data
Ability to lead and develop team members to meet departmental goals
Knowledge of property and casualty insurance programs
Knowledge of insurance pricing and coverage recommendations
Knowledge of insurance and risk transfer training
Knowledge of insurance applications and renewals
Knowledge of insurance claims management
Knowledge of insurance policy renewals and coverages
Knowledge of insurance marketing results analysis
Knowledge of COIs and endorsements for clients, subcontractors, and vendors
