Responsibilities

Direct management of triage Registered Nurses, including management of their SLAs related to clinical support for incoming patient communications

Act as the liaison for credentialing and product management for RN-related issues

Work to streamline Triage Phone line processes and workflows

Build and roll out RN related triage/RX protocols in collaboration with our Physician liaison

In addition to team leadership work, spend 12-16 hours a week collaborating with clinical care teams to provide excellent patient care and doing triage work during a portion of the week which includes conducting phone assessments of clinical symptoms to determine the best path of care

Assist in the development of processes and systems for urgent care and virtual triage

Work will be both phone based and asynchronous messaging-based

Required

Licensed RN with 4+ years experience doing clinical triage with a preferred mix of high acuity clinical environments, prenatal, and/or pediatric experience

Compact state licensure

2+ years experience effectively managing teams

Familiar with RN triage protocol and comfort encouraging RNs to work toward the top level of their licensing

Technology proficiency required

Excellent knowledge of chronic disease states and complex medical conditions
