Responsibilities
Assist with developing typical sections, alignments, profiles, layouts, and cross-sections.
Support design team in development of design documentation, plans, and reports for specific tasks and quantity calculations.
Monitor compliance with applicable codes and engineering practices.
Perform engineering calculations and estimates.
Collect and process data for topographic surveys and right-of-way engineering for use in design analysis.

Required
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification
Experience in developing typical sections, alignments, profiles, layouts, and cross-sections
Ability to support design team in development of design documentation, plans, and reports
Knowledge of monitoring compliance with applicable codes and engineering practices
Proficiency in performing engineering calculations and estimates
Experience in collecting and processing data for topographic surveys and right-of-way engineering
Physical ability to work in both office and field environments, including occasional exposure to various work conditions
Ability to operate standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copy machines
Physical ability to perform job duties including sitting, moving, standing, talking, hearing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 35 lbs
Occasional requirement to operate a company vehicle
