Responsibilities
Lead the organization in applying data and analytics for operational and business insights on RTLS products and services.
Work with Product Management to develop user needs aligned with product strategy and translate them into technical features.
Engage with stakeholders to translate strategic goals into architecture design of the RTLS Data Insights platform.
Collaborate with domain architects to ensure solution architectures alignment across the enterprise.
Lead architecture design decisions for in-house and 3rd party software solutions.
Mentor teammates on solution architecture and technical elements of the RTLS Data Insights platform.
Stay informed of industry and technical trends, changes, and developments.
Guide DevOps methods to maximize solution availability, reliability, and scalability.
Manage budgets for the Data Insights team and contribute to the overall RTLS development budget.

Required
Advanced degree or bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field, or 2-year associates degree with relevant work experience
7+ years of software development experience across multiple disciplines (Cloud, Data Eng./Analytics/Science, etc.) is preferred
3+ years leading software architecture design and implementation
2+ years managing a technical staff in an Agile development environment with a track record of success
Ability to combine business, information, technologies, and processes together to address specific system problems and/or technical improvements
Demonstrated experience translating business, stakeholder and customer needs and advocacy into commercialized products and/or solutions with technical development teams
Technical and/or management experience with Data Eng./Analytics, experience with Data Science (ML/AI) is preferred
Exhibits agile software principles and scrum values in the delivery of sprints/increments
Proficient in DevOps execution
Experience with Software/Cloud & Service Oriented Architecture design
Strong data management design
Knowledgeable in System/Software security
Strong business and technical analysis
Cursory knowledge of Systems Engineering practices
Excellent verbal and written communication
Structured software testing practices (automated & manual)
Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic technical environment
Preferred
7+ years of software development experience across multiple disciplines (Cloud, Data Eng./Analytics/Science, etc.)
Technical and/or management experience with Data Eng./Analytics, experience with Data Science (ML/AI)
