Responsibilities
Drive the full sales process, including prospecting, qualifying leads, conducting demos, and closing deals.
Develop and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers at colleges and universities.
Achieve and exceed sales quotas and performance metrics.
Work closely with the CEO to develop sales playbooks, refine messaging, and create scalable processes.
Identify new opportunities and execute outreach strategies, leveraging tools like CRM systems, LinkedIn, and email campaigns.
Partner with marketing and product teams to align efforts and optimize lead generation and client onboarding.
Help establish a sales culture and lay the groundwork for scaling the department, including hiring and mentoring future team members.

Required
Minimum of 5+ years of SaaS enterprise sales experience, ideally selling to higher education institutions.
Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the higher education landscape and the ability to understand the needs of colleges and universities.
Entrepreneurial Spirit: A self-starter with the drive to thrive in a startup environment.
Sales Expertise: Skilled in consultative selling and delivering value-driven solutions to clients.
Relationship Builder: Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working with clients and teammates.
Strategic Thinker: Ability to see the big picture and align tactical actions with long-term objectives.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM tools (e.g., Hubspot), AI sales automation platforms, and video conferencing for demos and communication.
