Responsibilities

Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
Develop tailored sales strategies to address client needs and demonstrate the value of Edacious’ solutions while understanding the market and competitors.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients that are tailored to their needs.
Oversee all operational aspects of the sales process, including preparing and managing proposals, presentations, and contracts as well internal tools and communication.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using CRM tools.
Collaborate with product and marketing teams to create impactful sales collateral and strategies.
Coordinate with external suppliers on pricing and proposal strategy.
Track and analyze sales performance metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
Provide regular updates and insights to the leadership team on progress toward sales goals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the sales cycle.
Address prospects inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure overall satisfaction throughout the sales process.
Work closely with the CEO and cross-functional teams, including product, customer success, and lab operations, to ensure a seamless handoff for customer success.

Required

2+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a similar role, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment.
Demonstrated success in managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse stakeholders.
The ability to code switch between speaking with farmers, ranchers, big food companies, and everything else in between is necessary!
Proven negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with CRM tools and other sales management platforms.
Very strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Goal-oriented and driven by results, with a proactive approach to challenges.
Adaptable and resourceful in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Passion for making the food system better!

Prior experience in agriculture, food, nutrition, and health is favorable but not required.
