Responsibilities

Learn the TeenLife “products” inside and out, including upgraded listings, guides, fairs, email campaigns and digital advertising. Understand the drivers of success of each product.
Manage renewals with assigned accounts and grow relationships.
Approach and cultivate prospects with customized messages that are delivered by phone, email and LinkedIn. Learn how to overcome objections.
Recommend products that meet our clients’ goals, create packages within TeenLife guidelines, and close deals.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports and maintain communication on contacts and sales activity with the TeenLife team.
Utilize Salesforce to manage contacts and accounts and document activity.

Required

Bachelor’s degree of equivalent work experience
Three years to five years of successful advertising sales experience or other sales-related experience.
Highly productive and organized. Analytical and detail-oriented.
Excited about reaching out to at least 25 contacts by email and phone every day.
Competitive by nature! You don't take no for an answer, yet you are able to handle objections in a professional and strategic manner.
A proven ability to meet/exceed goals and manage a high volume pipeline.
An expert in the consultative selling approach and excited to help qualified organizations to leverage the advertising power of TeenLife Media.
Ability to manage client expectations to foster long-term partnerships and maintain high renewal rates.
Have a positive, team player attitude and start the morning ready to conquer the day.
Adept at technology and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Able to think on his/her feet, speak eloquently, communicate effectively via email, and feel comfortable interacting with individuals at all levels within an organization.
Self-motivated and works independently with little to no supervision.
Excellent research and writing skills.
Exceptional oral communication and presentation skills with the ability to sell a concept or deal to a business at all decision-making levels.
A strong ability to think strategically in relation to the farming of deals and building of business relationships.
Ability to work independently while still being part of a team-based business model.

Preferred

Experience using Salesforce
Have an understanding of digital marketing
Possess strong Excel skills
