Responsibilities
Increase diagnostic and therapeutic capital placements and product utilization in your assigned geographic responsibility.
Achieve revenue and growth goals by acquiring new accounts and leveraging existing accounts.
Define, verify, and translate customer needs into diagnostic, point-of-care, and wellness management solutions.
Develop and grow partnerships with veterinary practice staff.
Educate and train veterinary clinic staff on products, services, and marketing initiatives.
Attend trade shows and other educational events.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of related education and/or experience.
3+ years of relevant sales experience, ideally in animal health, in direct sales of diagnostic, laser, ultrasound, therapeutic, or other medical device / capital equipment.
Strong closing skills, with a proven track record of capital sales and customer service excellence.
Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a collaborative sales environment.
Ability to travel to call points within an assigned territory.
Strong computer skills, with experience utilizing a CRM management database; salesforce.com preferred.
