Responsibilities
Embody the Values of YouthWorks
Communicate YouthWorks’ mission, vision, and values in and through sales and customer service with all churches, organizations, students, staff, and other partners.
Engage in prospecting/cold calling efforts to generate qualified leads for YouthWorks Mission Trips.
Utilize the nurturing process to market qualified contacts, leads, and new opportunities.
Identify each customer's needs and determine how best to support them through the sales/registration process.
Respond to incoming calls, emails, and Live Chats from potential customers.
Present discovery calls that cast vision, listen to the customer, and move people down the sales pipeline.
Meet call volume weekly goals.
Meet quarterly and yearly sales goals.
Provide customer support related to registrations, payments and paperwork.
Manage leads and contacts through the sales process using best practices of the CRM guided by the CRM team.
Cross-selling Border Trips and connecting customers to the Border Perspective Team.
Provide reports of call activities, scheduled appointments, sales and customer support as directed by the Director of Mobilization.
From time to time, the YouthWorks Trip Specialist may be asked to take on additional tasks—whether in their department or inter-departmentally—which support the overall ministry of YouthWorks.

Required
A person of integrity, trustworthiness, positivity, responsibility, and a vision for leadership that aligns with YouthWorks' mission, vision, and values
At least 2-3 years of sales, customer service, or transferrable experience with proven success in developing leads, closing sales, and providing exceptional customer care
Ability to self-lead, problem-solve independently, and strategize to achieve and exceed their sales goals
Strong phone and presentation skills
Excellent demeanor, which exudes the grace and patience required to develop new customer relationships
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and deadlines
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, discernment, and problem-solving skills
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Proficient in using the internet and can quickly learn other software as needed for the position
Ability to learn quickly and contribute to the overall sales success of the Customer Engagement and Support team
Active and growing Christian faith and comfortable sharing their faith story and expression of faith as part of regular job duties and responsibilities
Preferred
Experience with Dynamics 365 and SharePoint
College degree and/or equivalent work experience
Experience working with churches/pastors
YouthWorks experience
Based in Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area (not required)
