Responsibilities
Actively engaged in selling company products/services. Provides material estimates and quotes for projects.
Enters customers, quotes, and orders into CRM system.
Plans and paces own work efficiency to meet daily, weekly, project, or team related sales productivity goals.
Knowledge of basic sales techniques, concepts, and the ability to influence and persuade
Demonstrates strong detail orientated sales skills
Sales calls to utilities, engineers, EPC firms, general contractors, and governmental regulatory agencies to convince prospective customers to specify and purchase company’s products and services
Maintain up-to-date CRM database with contacts
Develop and maintain relationships with customer contacts
Enter new customer data and other sales data for current customers into database
Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from advertising inquiries, trade shows, sales calls, etc.
Make outbound lead follow-up calls to potential customers
Handle inbound sales calls and converts calls into sales
Overcome technical and business objections of customers
Provide management weekly summary and monthly sales report on activities
Assist in determining project pricing
Assist in managing competitive bidding process through market feedback

Required
Must have experience with Composite Mats, Access Road Construction or Right of Way Remediation
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or five plus years sales experience in a related field
Sales experience with technical products or products having physical or performance specifications
Experience in multi-tier selling to transmission and distribution services market
Demonstrated connections in the utility space with utilities, EPC firms, general contractors and other trades present on access roads.
Demonstrated business development and relationship management skills with ability to identify customer needs and effectively communicate proposition, negotiate, provide solutions, and close sales.
Knowledge of company products, competitors’ products, and company standards
Knowledge of company product pricing, discount and estimating formulas and guidelines
Strong verbal, written, analytical, and persuasive presentation skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management.
Ability to navigate at an advanced level in a Windows® environment including above average proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
Ability to efficiently communicate with business partners, supervisors/managers, peers, or subordinates in verbal or written form.
