Responsibilities

Conduct targeted outreach to K-12 schools, charter networks, and school districts, leveraging multi-channel strategies (calls, emails, LinkedIn) to initiate meaningful conversations.
Use a qualification framework, focusing on understanding district goals, identifying challenges, and assessing urgency to ensure leads align with Varsity Tutors for Schools' solutions.
Partner closely with AEs to share critical insights and maintain a seamless handoff of qualified leads. Participate in strategy sessions to align outreach with AE goals and district needs.
Maintain accurate records of outreach and prospect interactions in HubSpot, documenting key information and setting follow-up reminders.
Track and report on outreach efforts and qualified leads to ensure alignment with KPIs and contribute to overall sales pipeline growth.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field.
Preferably 1-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or education-related roles.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented remote environment.
Proficiency in using CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) and other sales tools.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and maintain attention to detail in a remote environment.
Comfortable with change, able to pivot as company strategies evolve.
Capable of handling the demands of cold prospecting in challenging or unfamiliar markets.
Eager to learn, ask questions, and actively improve skills.
Highly focused on achieving and exceeding KPIs and quality benchmarks.

Preferred

Experience with educational sales, EdTech familiarity, or experience with high-dosage tutoring.
Familiarity with educational technology (EdTech) tools and platforms.
Understanding of K-12 funding models and district purchasing cycles.
