Responsibilities
Research and identify potential customers through various channels such as online tools, databases, social media, and referrals. Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads for the sales team.
Conduct outbound calls, emails, and other communications to engage with potential customers. Use personalization and creativity to capture the interest of prospects and initiate conversations.
Engage with prospects to understand their needs, challenges, and potential fit for the company’s products or services. Ask qualifying questions to assess the lead's suitability and readiness for further sales engagement.
Schedule meetings, product demonstrations, or consultations for Account Executives or other members of the sales team. Ensure smooth transitions by providing comprehensive handoffs to the next stage in the sales process.
Build rapport with potential clients to nurture long-term relationships. Represent the company positively and professionally during all interactions.
Log all activities, communications, and progress in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot). Provide regular reports on outreach efforts, pipeline metrics, and results to the sales manager.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market developments. Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams to refine targeting and messaging strategies.
Work closely with marketing teams to align lead generation efforts with marketing campaigns. Collaborate with the sales team to optimize outreach and qualification processes.
Participate in training sessions to improve product knowledge, sales techniques, and communication skills.

Required
High school diploma or equivalent is often required.
0–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with prospects effectively.
A friendly, engaging, and confident demeanor when speaking with prospects.
Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) or a willingness to learn.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize activities, and meet deadlines.
Comfort with cold calling and handling rejection.
A goal-oriented mindset with the determination to achieve targets.
Basic ability to research prospects and tailor outreach strategies.
Self-motivated and proactive in seeking opportunities.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Strong team player with a collaborative attitude.
Preferred
A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred but not always mandatory.
Prior experience in outbound calling, lead generation, or telemarketing is a plus but not always necessary.
Familiarity with sales enablement tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoom Info).
Experience with email automation tools is advantageous.
