Responsibilities
Identify and research potential clients within target markets through various channels (cold calling, email outreach, social selling, events, etc.)
Generate qualified leads by reaching out to prospects and engaging in meaningful conversations to understand their needs
Maintain a strong pipeline of leads, ensuring consistent outreach to meet monthly and quarterly goals
Conduct in-depth research to qualify leads based on their business needs, budget, and fit with the product/service offering
Assess potential clients' readiness for engagement with the sales team by using tools like phone calls, emails, and social outreach
Use CRM and lead management systems to track interactions, maintain up-to-date records, and log activities
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to cultivate long-term partnerships
Provide value through educational content, product demos, or case studies to engage prospects and increase interest in the product/service
Work closely with Account Executives (AEs) to transition qualified leads and ensure a smooth handover for further follow-up and closure
Provide feedback on lead quality and market trends to improve targeting and messaging strategies
Meet or exceed lead generation, qualification, and appointment-setting quotas
Track daily, weekly, and monthly activity metrics (calls, emails, meetings set, etc.) to ensure goals are consistently met

Required
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and persuade prospects
Self-motivated with a drive to meet and exceed targets
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment
A strong work ethic and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Preferred
Previous experience in a sales or customer-facing role (Sales Development, Inside Sales, Customer Support, etc.) is a plus, but not required
Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and lead generation tools is beneficial
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not required)
