Responsibilities
Grow top line revenue through a mix of new and existing customers in all four areas of the USRL value chain
Meet or exceed volume and profitability targets for the Norfolk facilities
Develop and maintain an in-depth market strategy for key territory markets
Seek daily touchpoints with customers, community influencers, and industry touchpoints (average 3 meaningful touch points per day)
Respond quickly to new customer opportunities and drive them to completion
Effectively utilize the USRL CRM (Pipedrive) to maintain contacts, populate and track new opportunities, and organize customer outreach campaigns
Represent USRL at local industry and economic development meetings and events
Discovery of new opportunities and ventures for USRL to participate in

Required
3-5 years of sales or sales-related background
Rail Industry or Supply Chain Expertise
Effective communications both written and oral
Technical Skills (Email, Spreadsheets, Presentations)
Ability to travel (Up to 50% of work week)
Ability to work remote/home
Personal vehicle for travel, (allowance for vehicle)
