Responsibilities
Drive sales of Trax’s Signal Based Merchandising product by identifying, targeting, and engaging new prospects within the retail and consumer goods industries for Midcap and Enterprise companies.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key decision-makers (e.g., c-suite, heads of merchandising, sales, and data analytics) to drive adoption and maximize sales opportunities.
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets, aligning with the overall business goals of Trax Retail.
Present the Signal Based Merchandising product’s value proposition in a clear and compelling way, articulating the benefits of subscription data and retail execution solutions to solve client pain points.
Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to ensure a seamless sales process and alignment on product offerings and positioning.
Stay informed of industry trends, competitive products, and customer feedback to shape the sales approach and contribute to product development strategies.
Manage sales pipeline, forecast accurately, and report regularly on progress towards sales goals and key metrics.

Required
8+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the retail, CPG, or technology sectors, with a strong track record of closing complex deals.
Demonstrated success in developing new business and driving revenue growth through data-driven solutions or SaaS products.
Ability to lead high-level sales conversations and influence senior stakeholders, with excellent negotiation and closing skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex technical products into clear, client-friendly messaging.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
Preferred
Familiarity with retail execution, merchandising processes, and data analytics is a plus.
MBA preferred.
