Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to identify and solve automation challenges.
Actively pursue leads through cold calling, networking, and leveraging inside sales resources.
Analyze market trends and translate findings into actionable sales strategies to generate new business.
Secure deals with new prospects and grow revenue from existing accounts by presenting tailored technical solutions.
Achieve targeted sales quotas, gross margin goals, and annual lead generation targets.
Identify and address automation challenges for current customers.
Communicate customer requirements to Engineering and Applications teams.
Grow existing accounts by understanding customer needs and offering tailored solutions.
Research market verticals and track custom automation trends.
Cold call and prospect for new opportunities weekly.
Collaborate with marketing and inside sales teams to vet opportunities.
Drive JRA's positioning as an industry leader through customer visits and presentations.
Work with internal resources to track project timelines and provide feedback on quotes.
Collaborate on team strategies to ensure alignment with customer and market needs.
Support the broader sales and applications teams in aligning solutions with market demands.

Required
Proven experience in industrial sales, with success in maintaining key accounts and prospecting for new business.
Demonstrated ability to convey technical concepts clearly and effectively.
Strong technical acumen in industrial automation solutions.
7+ years of experience in sales or related fields.
Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Strong CRM proficiency and advanced knowledge of MS Office tools.
Willingness to travel overnight up to 35%.
A proactive, results-driven, and customer-focused mindset.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical discipline, preferably Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
