Responsibilities
Develop and deepen strong relationships with existing and new customers to understand their specific needs.
Use demonstrated knowledge of the packaging industry to select the best OEMs for the end-user based on each opportunity.
Collaborate with internal sales and engineering teams to develop accurate cost estimates and quotations for fully integrated automation projects in a timely manner.
Create fully integrated primary or end of line automation system layouts for customers using 2D or 3D CAD software and be able to articulate the value to the customer.
Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing ongoing support, guidance, and proactive communication throughout the sales cycle and beyond.
Travel up to 50% to existing and prospective customer sites and accurately collect and record important application details such as facility layouts, production metrics and environmental factors.
Continuously evaluate our sales engineering processes and procedures to improve our efficiency and effectiveness
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation including technical specifications, system designs, proposals, and client communications, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with customer requirements.

Required
2-5 years of experience in 2D CAD software (preferably AutoCAD)
2-5 years of experience working in the CPG (customer packaged goods) industry focused in Poultry, Red-meats, Bakery, Dairy and/or confectionery processing.
Knowledge of hygienic design principles relative to the food production industry
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite software including PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Word
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence key stakeholders at all levels.
Customer-centric, self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for driving business growth and exceeding customer expectations.
English (Required)
Willingness to travel: 50% (Required)
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Food Process, or Chemical) from ABET accredited college or university.
2-5 years of experience in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, or KUKA Sim)
Experience in large scale project integration between multiple equipment manufacturers in the food production industry
General knowledge of controls system design including PLC and HMI integration, SCADA, and networking protocols (Ethernet/IP, etc.)
