Responsibilities

Assists the Doble senior management in the creation and execution of the strategy to launch new product offerings.
Works with the RSD, BDMs and Sales Channel Partners to develop the strategic direction for accounts and opportunities within the sales pipeline.
Assumes the lead role in the technical sales process for all of the Doble Solutions Portfolio.
Identifies and assists with the development of growth opportunities for all accounts within the region.
Expands the market by identifying and reaching out to new potential customers and market segments; identifies new revenue streams (new accounts).
Provides consistent and on-going support to the sales organization.
Supports market intelligence on the competitors and customers.
Provides and performs pre-sales equipment technical demos on all Doble products and services for customers.
Provides and/or arranges hands-on training for customers on the use of related Doble equipment and software.
Ensures that the Regional Sales team and Channel Partners have the proper technical training so they can demo Doble equipment.
Reviews technical specifications for Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Quotes (RFQ) and Request for Information (RFI).
Provides application expertise in the sales process.
Actively participates in pre-sales activities to ensure the technical aspects of the products and services are demonstrated and communicated.
Delivers remote support on the use of Doble products and resolving technical issues via email, telephone, and web or coordinates support with the Doble Subject Matter Experts (SME) and the customer.
Attends and actively participates in trade shows and seminars to identify and meet key industry influencers.
Interfaces with internal resources such as Engineering, Solutions and Marketing.
Gathers feedback from clients on existing products and for future product enhancement and development.
Suggests potential application of Doble products and offers technical solutions to meet the customer’s needs.
Suggests new features and technical requirements for existing and new products.
Gathers appropriate information to create monthly sales forecast to the RSM/GM utilizing Salesforce.
Proactively provides communication with the Regional Sales Director and/or National Sales Director, to ensure visibility to opportunity pipeline, pricing, resources, sales support, and competitive intelligence.
Conducts post-sales follow-up with key decision makers and stakeholders.
Updates Salesforce on opportunities, and on-going activities.
Manages schedule, priorities, travel, and manages company expectations.
Provides timely and meaningful trip reports; controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
Ensures that business transactions remain in compliance of the legal requirements of laws and policies such as Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), Sarbanes–Oxley Act, UK Anti-Bribery Act of 2010, polices of the US Office of Foreign Assets Control ("OFAC"), US sanctions policies and localized trade laws and/or policies.
Ensures that sales contracts have been legally reviewed.
Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in business, Electrical Engineering or similar technical degree.
Equivalent experience to a four-year degree can be substituted.
At least 5 years of technical experience in the field of electric power engineering.
A thorough knowledge of at least one area of testing practices such as transformers, protection, rotating apparatus.
Experience and working knowledge of Doble Solutions or similar.
Technical knowledge of Doble’s products and services, including related software.
Demonstrated hands-on technical experience with testing equipment.
Technical training background such as training field people or new engineers.
A professional demeanour and proactive nature.
The skills to express ideas clearly in both written and oral communications especially in English. This includes being able to make technical presentations to a wide variety of audiences.
Proven ability to plan, organize, and perform work activities with minimal supervision.
Excellent listening and communication skills with strong ability to influence people at all levels.
Ability to thrive a fast-paced team environment, focused on supporting our customers.
Proven project management skills and ability to meet critical deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
Must be able to analyze problems from internal and external Doble stakeholders.
A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
A strong customer service orientation.
Outstanding presentation skills in making presentations to a spectrum of audiences.
Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally within the territory (40-50%). This level can vary throughout the year due to customer demand.
Must have a valid passport and be able to obtain a valid Visa to any country required for Doble field work.

Preferred

Familiarity with Doble products is preferred.
Proficiency in verbal and written local language skills within the territory such as Portuguese, Spanish, Arabic, French, Spanish, and German will be helpful.
