Responsibilities

Conduct tailored product demonstrations showcasing ERP, advanced production scheduling (APS), and manufacturing execution System (MES) capabilities.
Showcase functionality focused on real-time shop floor control and optimization, overall labor effectiveness (OLE) and overall operational effectiveness (OOE).
Demonstrate advanced job planning and scheduling software and how these tools optimize manufacturing operations, resource allocation, and cost reduction.
Illustrate the benefits of MES and its impacts on production, inventory control, and quality management.
Actively engage in scoping, discovery, and proposal review sessions to understand client requirements and identify optimal solutions.
Evaluate technical specifications to determine whether out-of-box capabilities or custom development is required.
Present and recommend solution options, including risk-benefit analysis, process change recommendations, and integration strategies.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and development, to ensure alignment with customer needs.
Meet assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
Serve as a technical liaison between prospects, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with product management and development teams to propose feature enhancements and ensure alignment with market needs.
Drive RFx responses, solution proposals, and other sales collateral within required timelines.
Support marketing efforts by supporting trade shows, delivering webinars, and producing product-focused videos.

Required

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a sales engineer in software or SaaS solutions sales, with a focus on manufacturing solutions.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with ERP systems, APS software, and MES solutions that involve I/O from PLC controllers and machine integration.
Strong understanding of manufacturing operations to include advanced job planning and scheduling methodologies, finite and infinite capacity planning, inventory optimization, just-in-time (JIT) manufacturing, and sequencing strategies.
In-depth knowledge of APS and MES functionality, including real-time production tracking, shop floor data capture, and API-driven integration with ERP systems.
Knowledge of ISO IEC62264 and ANSI ISA-95 standards.
Proven ability to manage technical solutions in a fast-paced presales environment, supporting multiple projects concurrently.
Knowledge of cloud solutions and deployment models, including public (AWS, Azure, Google) and private single|multi-tenant configurations.
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and MS Teams, with knowledge of Salesforce.com preferred.
BS in an engineering discipline (CS, EE, IE, etc.) or a related field required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with expertise in delivering web based presentations and video sessions.
Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Knowledge of Salesforce.com preferred.
Familiarity with SQL and MS Visual Basic is a plus.
