Responsibilities
Review opportunities (RFQ’s) and specify Zone 4’s services to meet customer requirements
Consult with the sales and suppliers to understand general cost driving components and arrive at the most cost-effective solution for our customers. Keeping in consideration and driving towards desired profit margins
Review and interpret data, specifications/drawings from customer inquiries and prepare bid packages in a timely manner
Help drive sales by supporting Business Unit Leaders and Business Development
Interact with customers while developing product solutions and closing new business
Ability to perform to the highest ethical standards
Strong relationship building and communication skills
Knowledge of equipment, design, sizing, and selection
Ability to understand varying industry applications
Strong attention to detail
Functions as a team member and to get along with others
Reports for work on time as scheduled and ready to perform
Performs other similar or related duties as assigned, or as necessary, to accomplish the department's objectives in an effective manner

Required
Experience in material handling industry including but not limited to racking, conveyor, electrical, ASRS, goods-to-person, autonomous robotics, and multi-shuttle bot systems
Excellent analytical, written, problem solving and oral communication skills
Highly proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, etc
Ability to work in a fast pace, time sensitive environment
Organized, self-motivated, ability to multi-task, team player
Ability and desire to support co-workers in a collaborative team environment
Excellent people skills as required for customer interaction and to team with other personnel in meeting customer expectations
Ability to read and interpret documents such as proposals, engineering drawings, specifications, and procedure manuals
Preferred
Master Electrician OR a thorough understanding of electrical plans and schematics
3-5 years’ experience in project estimating installation, design, or project management with a strong focus on material handling (conveyor, electrical, ASRS, goods-to-person, autonomous robotics, and multi-shuttle bot systems)
