Responsibilities
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives for the defined territory.
Continuously work to increase territory funnel to ensure future territory success.
Demonstrate the ability to lead complex sales opportunities throughout the entire sales process, from prospect to close.
Track and document sales activity related to new business partners within CRM software such as closes, forecasted opportunities, prospect information, calls, meetings, and presentations.
Provide regular territory overview and insights to Orchard Leadership.
Make sound decisions in the absence of detailed instructions.
Translate challenges into practical solutions.
Build relationships and pro-actively involve other personnel to ensure success within the sales process, and subsequently, the operational implementation of closed opportunities.
Ability to regularly assess all sales related skills by self and accept feedback by others and follow those assessments with necessary improvement efforts.
Work with other Orchard Departments (Operations, Product Management, Accounting, & Training) to improve product and industry knowledge.
Individual growth through various modalities, such as industry articles, books, Orchard sponsored training, and tradeshows.
Attend trade shows as directed by Orchard Leadership.

Required
Bachelor's degree required
Demonstrated ability to prospect, make effective presentations, and close business.
Demonstrated excellent communication skills (verbal and non-verbal).
Possess the ability to foster strong interpersonal relationships between groups.
Consistent top performer defined by meeting/exceeding set sales goals.
Demonstrated knowledge of product and industry.
Ability to identify key decision makers and work at the 'C' level.
Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize.
Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once.
Must possess a strong drive to succeed.
Domestic travel required up to 70% of the time.
A valid driver's license and at least one credit card is required for this position.
Preferred
Work experience in medical software sales industry preferred.
