Responsibilities
Prospect and qualify potential industrial companies within the oil & gas, chemicals, power & utilities, mining, and/or process manufacturing areas.
Achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas.
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the industries, including market trends, competitors, and key players, to effectively position our solution.
Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify prospects, understand their business needs, and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements.
Engage with decision-makers, such as executives, directors, and managers, within target companies to build relationships and drive sales opportunities.
Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations, highlighting the value of our solution in solving customer challenges and driving business outcomes.
Collaborate closely with our sales and customer success teams to strategize and align on account-specific sales plans, ensuring a unified approach in targeting industrial companies.

Required
5+ years sales experience in process automation, operational technology, APM, historian sales, and/or industrial analytics.
Proven track record of success in sales, preferably with enterprise class software and SaaS in the industrial sectors.
Strong knowledge and understanding in the oil & gas, chemicals, power & utilities, mining, or process manufacturing industries, including their unique challenges and requirements.
Ability to build and nurture relationships with customers, establishing trust and rapport to drive long-term partnerships.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively articulate complex concepts and influence decision-makers.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive mindset and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage and track customer interactions, pipeline, and revenue.
Willingness to travel for customer visits, conferences, and industry events, as required.

Preferred
Experience selling for OSIsoft/Aveva, automation vendor, or industrial analytics companies is a plus.
Familiarity with industrial analytics solutions and their applications within industrial settings is highly desirable.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, petroleum) or related field is a plus.
