Responsibilities
Research, identify, and qualify leads for fit with ABPS fill/finish services
Reach out to potential customers with targeted messages about ABPS capabilities and how we can support their programs
Prospect for new leads
Qualify and champion leads for handoff to New Business Development representative responsible for the territory
Utilizes subscription-based lead gen databases to mine for new prospects that match Aji Bio-Pharma’s Drug Product service capabilities. Develop lead nurturing program that transitions to Sales team funnel.
Conducts outbound prospecting activities working from leads strategically developed using databases and mining tools as well as leads that have come into Sales Force via web request form or phone inquiries.
Effectively qualifies leads early in the sales process to ensure company technical resource teams and business development teams are being applied to opportunities that are most promising.
Utilizes the CRM database to input and provide information that will increase effectiveness and aid sales.
Follow industry trends and news to identify new opportunities for potential sales
Generate and submit sales reports to management
Co-ordinate the establishment of CDAs with potential customers
Work with New Business Development team to gather information needed to submit requests for proposal (RFPs) within CRM
Presents sales presentations for internal and external customers
Utilize the CRM database to input and provide information to increase effectiveness and aid sales
Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our services, and how they can benefit our customers
Organize potential customer meetings at conferences and create company summaries for New Business Development team
Regular and reliable attendance on a full-time basis
Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with internal and external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices.

Required
Bachelor’s degree required. Life sciences discipline preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of experience related to sales/business development or customer-facing technical project management.
Must have previous work experience in a CDMO or with the development, manufacturing, or analytical testing of sterile biotechnology products.
Ability to build key customer relationships with the ability to educate and demonstrate technical value propositions.
A self-starting personality with a spirit of entrepreneurship.
Ability to establish and maintain a functional home office to effectively execute assigned responsibilities.
Experience with common customer management relationship software and platforms.
Understanding of common sales techniques and theory, including sales funnel.
High aptitude for learning technical and scientific information.
Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to travel up to - Ability to work independently, within prescribed guidelines, or as a team member.
Must be familiar with Microsoft Office applications.
A valid driver’s license and safe driving record is required.
