Responsibilities
The Sales Manager will report to the Vice President of Sales – Industrial Division and will be responsible for providing leadership to the sales group throughout the South Central Region (W. AR, CO, KS, W. LA, MO, NE, NM, OK, TX, ); carrying out development of sales representatives with specific focus on account management; developing new business and sales closing techniques; supporting the Vice President of Sales with input on strategic account management and divisional customer analysis; and sales P&L responsibilities.
The position will have 3-4 direct reports.
Approximately 50% travel within the territory.

Required
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Business required.
At least 6+ years of B2B sales experience in industrial consumable products required.
A minimum of 3 years‘ experience in a leadership role.
CRM experience (Salesforce desired)
Demonstrated success in opening new business
Solid understanding of direct selling concepts along with product and industry knowledge
Ability foster collaborative relationship across inter-company departments and divisions
Ability to travel overnight when needed
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred
Experience in the Lubricants or Chemical industries preferred.
