Responsibilities

Design & Implement: Develop and implement Salesforce solutions, ensuring they align with business requirements and industry best practices.
Salesforce Integration: Architect and execute complex integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems, leveraging Salesforce APIs and third-party tools.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring high-quality delivery of Salesforce solutions.
Architecture Assessment: Conduct assessments of existing Salesforce architectures, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation and technical specifications for Salesforce projects.
Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical support during the sales process, including product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof of concepts (POCs) related to Salesforce.
Solution Design: Translate customer requirements into effective and innovative Salesforce solutions, highlighting the value proposition of Salesforce products and services.
RFP/RFI Response: Assist in responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) by crafting tailored technical solutions and responses, particularly for Salesforce-related inquiries.
Customer Interaction: Engage with customers to understand their business needs, challenges, and technical requirements, focusing on Salesforce capabilities.
Workshops & Meetings: Conduct discovery workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and technical deep dives with customers to uncover opportunities for Salesforce solutions.
Feedback Loop: Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product development, improve service offerings, and enhance customer satisfaction, particularly in the context of Salesforce.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in Salesforce architecture and implementation, with a strong focus on Salesforce platform features.
Proven experience in sales engineering or technical pre-sales roles, with significant exposure to the Salesforce ecosystem.
Deep understanding of Salesforce platform features, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Salesforce APIs, and Lightning Components.
Experience with Salesforce integration tools and methodologies, including REST/SOAP APIs, Apex, and third-party integration platforms.
Strong knowledge of Salesforce data models, security, and best practices for scalable architecture design.
Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, demonstrating business value and return on investment, especially in Salesforce-related discussions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead customer discussions and present to executive audiences.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with sales, technical, and customer teams on Salesforce projects.

Preferred

Salesforce Certification(s) such as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Salesforce Certified Integration Architect, or Salesforce Certified Application Architect.
Experience in agile development methodologies.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and DevOps practices, particularly as they relate to Salesforce environments.
