Responsibilities

Develop and drive the strategic vision for the Salesforce platform by creating and executing a detailed, forward-looking roadmap that prioritizes the Development Team's workflow efficiency and supports the growth and optimization of the 'Contact to Funding' pipeline.
Lead and chair the Salesforce Steering Committee by proactively engaging with department heads and key stakeholders to gather, critically analyze, and prioritize their business needs. Translate these needs into strategic workflow enhancements and actionable platform features that elevate operational efficiency and drive organizational goals.
Synthesize cross-departmental business requirements into robust, scalable workflow improvements and seamless feature integrations within the Salesforce ecosystem. Ensure all enhancements are aligned with long-term organizational objectives and Salesforce best practices.
Collaborate closely with the IT Team, including the in-house Salesforce Administrator/Developer to implement platform enhancements.
Continuously monitor, assess, and report on the performance of the Salesforce platform, providing regular insights and metrics that demonstrate its alignment with the organization’s growth strategies, operational demands, and evolving business needs.
Work closely with the Administrator of the Knowledge Management System to ensure that the KMS content meets and exceeds the individual department and program needs.

Required

Proven experience developing Salesforce platforms, preferably in a nonprofit or growth-focused organization.
Strong leadership skills with experience in chairing committees and driving cross-departmental collaboration.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand and articulate technical requirements and solutions.
Experience presenting initiatives to large groups, articulating technical concepts in terms that staff will understand.
A hands-on approach to problem-solving, with a willingness to 'dig in' and address the organization's pain points directly.
Familiarity with Salesforce-integrated applications, including Conga CLM, Appiphony DriveConnect, Docusign, Mulesoft, and Salesforce CPQ.
Understand project management principles.
Excellent verbal communication skills and technical writing skills, presentation/facilitation skills and strong interpersonal skills are required to perform the functions as described.
Ability to manage expectations and collaborate with executives, steering committee and senior leaders, front-end business SMEs, and managing a project spanning multiple business functions.
A collaborative mindset with a focus on understanding the needs and visions of various stakeholders, demonstrating the ability to translate diverse requirements into effective Salesforce solutions.
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Salesforce
Salesforce certification.
5+ years directly managing projects.
Bachelor's degree or above.
