Responsibilities
Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs, processes, and challenges.
Conduct in-depth requirement gathering sessions and produce documentation of functional and technical needs.
Provide expert guidance on Salesforce best practices, features, and capabilities.
Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform.
Design custom solutions and integrations with third-party systems.
Create technical documentation, data models, and architectural designs.
Design and implement Salesforce solutions, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and other products.
Configure Salesforce applications to optimize business processes, automations, and user experience.
Customize Salesforce objects, fields, validation rules, flows, and other components.
Conduct user training sessions and provide hands-on support to ensure user adoption and proficiency.
Develop training materials, guides, and support documentation for end-users.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Work closely with project managers to ensure timely project delivery.
Communicate project status, issues, and risks effectively to stakeholders.
Ensure that all configurations and customizations adhere to Salesforce best practices and data security standards.
Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases, new features, and industry best practices.
Recommend improvements to current systems and processes for optimal client satisfaction.
Conduct system health checks, optimize performance, and refine processes as needed.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience working as a Salesforce Consultant at a small/medium sized consulting firm and having worked on 5+ projects across multiple clients.
Proven experience with Salesforce configuration, customization, and data management.
Experience building complex Flows.
Understanding of Apex and Lightning Web Component capabilities and use cases.
Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder, and/or Salesforce Consultant certifications preferred.
Strong understanding of Salesforce platform features, capabilities, and limitations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Expertise in handling data, generating insights, and optimizing the use of Salesforce for reporting purposes.
Proficient in data migration, reporting, and dashboard creation within Salesforce.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills for effectively interacting with stakeholders and end-users.
Consulting and Project Management experience using both waterfall and agile methodologies.
Strong public speaking skills and ease with unscripted presentations.
Proficient with Google Workspace, Excel, and Jira.
Must be able to take ownership of 5-6 small projects or 2-3 larger ones.
Preferred
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with supporting Salesforce products (e.g., Tableau, MuleSoft, Pardot).
Experience with integrations concepts and tools.
Background in a particular industry (e.g., healthcare, finance) and understanding of industry-specific requirements.
